Rom and Ram offer Professional IT support over
the Internet using our specially configured remote connection client. If you
are able to browse the Internet from your PC, we can remote control that computer,
and provide you with a range of remote IT services.
The remote client does not install or change anything whatsoever on your computer
and we cannot connect to you unless you specifically allow us to do so.
How does it work?
After sigining up for our Remotes Service and we have received receipt of your payment, you will receive an email containing full instructions. In this e-mail will also be a link to download our free Remote Support software to your desktop. This is used to connect directly to Rom and Ram.
Once a convenient time has been allocated to your request, all you need to do is run our Remote Support software at the appropriate time.
After you run the Remote Support software a request will then be sent securely to a Rom and Ram qualified computer technician to complete the connection and the Remote Support session can then begin. (Please note : You can end the session at any time and nothing is permanently installed on your PC.)
From here, and only with your permission, we can take control of your PC and help to diagnose and resolve your problem. You still have control of your PC and can stop the Remote Support session at anytime. Once the session is complete, you will receive an email detailing the work that has been carried out in the session. We will then disconnect from your PC.

Remote Service Requirements
The requirements to use our Remote Support Service are as follows :
A PC running Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP,
Server 2003 or Vista - must be able to boot into operating system
A working high-speed Internet connection (e.g. Broadband, cable modem, DSL,
T1)
An accessible E-mail address
Security and Privacy
During
a Remote Support Session, all communication is encrypted using integrated 256
bit key encryption.
All sessions are initiated by and completely under your control and you can
stop the session at any time.
No software is installed permanently on your machine - the software is only
temporarily downloaded to enable us to access your machine, and is then removed
automatically after the seesion has ended.
Rom and Ram cannot access your machine in the future without you initiating
the connection first.
